Titmice Devour Bad Bugs
Titmice are basically vegetarians during the winter in areas where frost and snow reduce the availability of animal protein in the form of insects and caterpillars. However, in the spring and summer pest insects, their eggs and larvae, and caterpillars represent more than half the animal diet of tufted titmice.
