Month of March	Catnip – If you have a friend with some catnip growing in their yard, ask for a few seedlings come spring and your catnip patch will be easily established.
Month of April	Catnip – Catnip can be started from seed, but it is not easy and seedlings are readily available from garden centers each spring. Plant them about 6 inches apart; only a few are needed. Catnip is essentially a weed so it needs no fertilizer, no watering, and no pruning.
