Artemisia Choices

Size: Various varieties of Artemisia will grow from 10 inches to over 30 inches and the mounds will grow from 10 inches to 20 inches wide.

Foliage: All the Artemisia varieties have some form of silver green leaves that gives the plant its distinctive identity. Most leaves grow along hairy non-branching stems, and have a strong fragrance when crushed. For this reason they are not favorites of foraging deer.

Flowers: The flowers of this plant are of secondary concern. They have no ornamental value.
