Shearing back to cluster of foliage as soil level after first bloom may result in some reblooms by late summer.

May need staking as it reaches 18 inches or so in case of gusty summer storms.

No need to divide.

Flowers brown and finish in late summer. Cut back so other fall bloomers can fill the spot.

In areas where soil tends to be on acid side, baby’s breath beds need a sprinkling of lime in the fall or wood ashes in spring.
