| Month of June | Shrub Rose – Shrub Roses do not necessarily bloom all summer as do the bush roses. So don’t panic if your plant stops flowering for a few weeks in the middle of the summer. It will come back with blooms in the fall. You do not need to dead-head Shrub Roses. |
| Optional – giving your Shrub Rose a light application of granular slow release fertilizer this month gives it some energy in facing the heat of the summer. Use about one half cup of fertilizer per plant. | |
