Using Cedar in the Home Landscape
Plant cedars as single trees to showcase their open, angular dark-green growth habit and pyramidal form. They need lots of space. They are ideally suited as specimen trees out in a wide lawn area. Since they are fairly slow growers, they'll also do well in containers 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep.
