Using Cypress

Using Cypress in the Landscape
Use rapidly growing Cypress in rows to screen out street noise, wind, neighbors or unattractive buildings and fences. While they are young it is possible to prune them as hedges, but they eventually outgrow even fairly severe pruning. Some people use this tree as a Christmas tree because of its fine winter color and light texture. Group Cypress or plant them individually for a formal accent in large residential yards.
