Planting False Cypress
False Cypresses prefer full sun, although they can tolerate partial, light shade. Those varieties with yellow foliage especially need sun to maintain their color. Ideally their soil should be reasonably fertile and well drained, and very acid to neutral (pH 4.0 to 7.5).
