Using False Cypress

Using False Cypress in the Yard
Unless the False Cypress you have is a dwarf variety, be forewarned that it will gradually grow into a very tall tree. While they are young and shrubby they are ideal for foundation plantings but they don’t stay small and compact. These trees work well in groups, as screens along boundaries. As mature trees they are stunning individual specimens in a lawn. The right cultivar can be kept pruned as a hedge.
