Norway Spruce (Picea abies)	At 20 years height is 25’ with a spread of 15’. Mature height is 40 to 60’ with a spread of 25 to 30’. Annual growth rate is medium at 12 to 18 inches.	Zones 3 through 6 (7); Sun; moderately moist, well drained soil; prefers a cool climate; dislikes heat
White Spruce (Picea glauca)	Mature height is 40 to 60’ with a spread of 10 to 20’. Annual growth rate is 12 to 18 inches	Zones 2 through 6; Sun to light shade; moderately moist, well drained soil; drought tolerant; withstands wind, cold, drought, and light shade; dislike summer heat
Serbian Spruce (Picea omorika)	Mature height is 50 to 60’ with a spread of 15 to 25’. Annual growth rate is less than 12 inches	Zones 4 through 7; Sun to partial shade; moderately moist, well drained soil but will grow in sand and heavy clay; prefers a dry atmosphere and protection from wind
Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea pungens)	At 20 years height is 15’ and spread is 6’. Mature height is 30 to 90’ with a spread of 10 to 20’. Growth rate is slow at 8 to 12 inches per year.	Zones 2 through 7a; Sun; prefers moist, well drained soil but tolerates a range of soil types; More drought tolerant than other spruces; poor heat tolerance
