Fast growers, (10 to 12 feet the first 7 years) these trees stay relatively small and are suitable as a specimen in the middle of the lawn, as a street tree utility wires, or nearer the house for some shade. They also work in smallish yards and the place at the Shore. They do not overpower one-story homes. You can even grow this tree in a large container.
