Problems of Yellowood Trees
Yellowwood has no serious pest insect or disease problems. Its only problems are cultural. As I mentioned above it has a serious problem of producing narrow growth angles of the crotches, which often cause the tree to be subject to breakage in storms. Pruning early on is needed to avoid this problem.
