About Caterpillars


Caterpillars are the wormlike larvae of moths and butterflies. They may be only ;1/4 inch long or more than 2 inches long. Some are fuzzy; others are smooth. Many are either green or brown, but others are brightly colored and have beautiful markings. Usually they have lots of little legs down their length which distinquishes them from worms and other larvae.

Fortunately, the methods for controlling caterpillars are basically the same for all species. You'll find those methods below.
