Leafminer Solutions Using Pesticides

Control Leafminers With Natural Insect Repellent Sprays
There are a number of botanic repellant sprays available for use against Leafminers and many other pest insects. These products both kill and/or repel. Adults of Leafminers doused with these sprays either die or move. New Leafminers coming along avoid the area with the repellent spray for several days to a few weeks. These products will not work on the miners once they are inside the leaf. For products to consider go to the Natural Insect Repellents in Yardener’s Tool Shed

Natural insecticides

In the past natural insecticides did not affect the leafminer once it is inside the leaf. No more a problem.

AzaMax will control this pest insect

AzaMax is a natural product with a broad spectrum of pest control and broad plant applications. AzaMax is an anti-feedant and insect growth regulator which control (kills) pests through starvation and growth disruption within two or three days. Therefore this product is used when the bugger is chomping on the foliage. Any of the sprayers can be used to apply AzaMax
