Bulb Guard forms both an odor and taste barrier on bulbs and perennials that repels animal pests. Easy to use. One ounce treats approximately five bulbs (tulip size)
For Bulbs
Prior to planting, remove all loose material from surface of bulbs. Shake well. Dip bulbs in undiluted solution for at least 5 minutes. Allow to air-dry thoroughly, then plant treated bulbs as usual. For added protection, spray the surrounding ground area after planting to help keep pests away.
For Perennials
Dilute Bulb Guard solution 7:1 with water. Shake diluted spray well before using. Apply when new growth or buds begin to appear. Spray stems, flowers and buds thoroughly from all angles, until run-off or leaves look wet. Treat vulnerable plants at the beginning of each damage season. For added protection, spray the surrounding ground area to help drive away pests. Reapply as new growth emerges and when effects of previous treatment begins to fade.
