Region 3. Grass Choices in the Warm Humid South
In this warm and humid region which typically receives generous rainfall, hybrid Bermudagrass, centipede grass, tall fescue, and zoysia all do well. In higher elevations which may be a bit cooler, Kentucky bluegrass will do well. The further south you move in this region, the more likely St. Augustine grass is the best choice.
