Natural Herbicides
While there has been significant progress in developing organic fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides that are now just as effective as the synthetic products. There still remains a need for someone to develop an organic herbicide that can effectively handle the control the weeds in the lawn. Corn gluten products will control crabgrass but, like the synthetic crabgrass preventers, they prevent you from overseeding until fall.
Pproducts using vinegar, citrus oils, or fatty acid salts will handle some weeds but not the tough ones like dandelions and creeping charlie.
