Question From: J. Crandall - MICHIGAN
Q: I was planting bulbs last Sunday (the 11th of Nov) and noticed that several of last year's already-bloomed bulbs (a variety...tulips, daffodils, hyacinths) are sprouting! Some are even a couple inches high! Will they be okay once the weather turns cold, or will they die? What can I do to prevent pre-mature sprouting?
A:
Not to worry, that often happens. I'd mulch them with wood chips or shredded leaves. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
