Boston Ivy And Ajuga Ground-Cover Has Lots Of Moss Growing In It

Question From: F. Mott - Holly, Michigan, United States
Q: I have a ground cover mixture of Boston Ivy and Ajuga. (It's in an oak woods, so both covers are weak but mix together well, look nice, and stop water from coming downhill to my house.) This year (after 15 years) I suddenly have a lot of moss growing in it. Can I use this baking soda product on it...or what should I use so I do not kill the groundcovers?

Your best bet is to let nature take it's course. I would fertilize the Ground Cover with Espoma Plant Tone according to the package directions and make sure the area does not dry out this summer. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
