Can Coated Aspirin Be Used Instead Of Uncoated Aspirin To Protect Tomatoes From Disease

Question From: Dryden, Michigan, United States
Q: Nancy- Regarding your article on Heirloom tomatoes (May 5, 2017) and the use of uncoated aspirin and their use for diseases I was only able to find coated (325mg.) after going to two stores. Can I use the 325mg. coated ones in its place? Thanks, Dora

A: The only non-coated aspirin I could find are the Bayer packets and I'm not sure they are coated also. I use the coated ones and they were fine. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
