Crepe Myrtle Trees Have Tiny Leaves That Are Barely Visible

Question From: D. Johnson - Cochran, Georgia, United States
Q: Some of my crape Myrtles can out this season with tiny leaves. You have to look real close at them to tell whether they have leaves on them. Can you help me.

A: The trees may be suffering from the severe winter weather. Give them extra time to produce new leaves. An onsite inspection from a certified arborist would give you a better answer as to how to proceed. To find a professional in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code.
