Edges Of Leaves Of Grapes Awaiting Transplanting Have Turned Brown Rust Color

Question From: Phoenix, Arizona, United States
Q: I have recently planted various bare Grape(s) root stocks in pots, awaiting for the opportune time to replant them in the ground. They have budded and the leaves were all looking nice and green; thus growing. I have used Potting and garden-soil mixture as my base, until I can replant them into the ground. Now the Tips of the leaves, have turned brown, and rusty ,iron color looking. What has caused the leaves to do this?

Crispy tips are often caused by lack of water. The soil must be kept moist at all times. That may mean daily watering in high heat. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy

Q: Thanks, I believe you are right on, it is hot here must keep them wet and not dry!
