Geranium Leaves Are Very Pale

Question From: Fremont, California, United States
Q: The new growth leaves on my geranium/pelargonium are very pale yellow to white. I have grown them for over 15 years, never had this problem. They are still flowering, just new leaves look sick.

A: My guess is excessive heat. They just can't take it. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy

Comment: I live close to the bay, we don't get excessive heat. Plus, the plants are on the east side of the house. Must be a different answer.

Response: Take samples of the damaged leaves to your local independent garden center or nursery that grows these plants of an accurate ID and control. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
