Grass Seems Detached From Ground And Is Looking Very Weak After Heavy Rains

Question From: Katy, Texas, United States
Q: We have had very heavy rains here in Houston and since then my grass is looking very weak and then. I tried feeding it but it does not seem to help. I have st Augustine and it looks like the grass is not attaching itself to the ground.

Nick, I suggest you contact your Texas A & M county extension for advice. Sounds like you have a grub problem, but I live in Michigan and am not familiar with warm weather grasses or Texas bugs. Go to http://agrilife.org/locations/ to locate an office. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
