Honey Locust Tree Is Leaking Sap Where New Growth Was Snapped Off

Question From: Bernalillo, New Mexico, United States
Q: recently tranplanted a honey locust tree. tree bout 5 yrs old. there is some weeping along trunk of tree like its crying from small indentations on like where new growth was snap off.

Your tree is crying. Actually, it's leaking sap. Let Mother Nature do the healing and do not paint with any type of sealer. However, do keep it well well watered. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
