Honeysuckle Branches Have White Mildew And Turn Black

Question From: d. mann - PENNSYLVANIA
Q: my honeysuckle is dying. The branches have a white mildew and turns black. I have lost over half of my bush. It is at the edge of the porch where rain and snow drains off roof. HELP

A: Your honeysuckle has a fungal disease and probably will not survive in its present location due to overwatering from Mother Nature. I suggest you replace the plant and site it in a sunny location with soil drainage. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
