Q: Ground cover: I have pachysandra and periwinkle, and how do I make it so that it spreads better and faster (if possible)? I thought maybe using Holly-Tone by Espoma would help, but not yet. Just spread some around a month ago. And what about using Plant-Tone (spreading that around the pachysandra ). I am trying to fill in spaces that are sparse.
A: Rule of thumb is to fertilize newly planted ground. when planting and again in fall. Keep the soil consistantly moist is key better growth. Best Nancy and Happy Yardeing.
