How To Prune And Resize Gold Mop Chamaecyparis Shrubs

Question From: J. Salvi - KENTUCKY
Q: My Gold Mop Chamaecyparis are too big. They were put in some years ago as landscaping shrubs now they’re as tall as the house I heed to cut the down in size or reshape them. How do I do this? Also they’re planted very close to my foundation. Will the roots go under my house and through the foundation? I have a crawl space Thank you
