How To Repair Small Hole In Hose

Question From: h. busch - Royal Oak, Michigan, United States
Q: I have a small hole in the hose. How may I slow it down. Also about 1/3 of hose is not needed going between raised beds. Can I block water in those sections? I thought of painting those sections with basement paint.

A: Cut out a small section that contains the hole and use a repair kit to reattach it. You can get the parts at the hardware store. Not quite clear about other issues. Here's a website that may be useful to figure out how to configure your hoses. While the name of the website and books is insulting, the information is usually right on.>Watering Systems for Your Vegetable Garden - For Dummies: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/watering-systems-for-your-vegetable-garden.html Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
