Q: I planted 7 bushes of LA Dreamin Hydrangeas. They were just beautiful for around 6 weeks. Then the leaves started to curl and turn brown. The blooms also turned brown. I gave them some Plant fertilizer and sprayed them with insect in case they had bugs.
A: The fertilizer and bug spray probably did more harm than good. Excessive heat and drought are the problems. Keep them well water and they may rebloom before fall. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
