Question From: C. Look - Royal Oak, Michigan, United States
Q: Here it is late November here in southeastern Michigan. We had some trees removed late in the summer, and the lawn needs seeding in that area. I had hoped to seed still this fall and let the snow "settle it" into the ground. Is it too late to do so?
It is way too late Cal. The soil needs to be 50 degrees or warmer for the seed to germinate. Pray for and early spring. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
