Leland Cypress Is Turning Brown And Losing Needles In Center

Question From: J. Brimmer - Klamath Falls, Oregon, United States
Q: What possible reasons would our Leland Cyprus be turning brown and losing needles in the center, closest to the trunk. It started last spring, so I assumed that it was due to draught/not enough water, so I increased the drip. These are about 8 years old and the tips or ends of all branches are good.

A: I would get on onsite inspection from a certified arborist. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
