Magnolia Tree Leaves Covered With Whitish Gray Fungus
Question From: s. porterfield - FLORIDA
Q: I found a magnolia on my property about 9 foot tall. The leaves are covered with a whitish gray fungus(?) for want of a better word. I can scrape it off with my fingernail and the leaf is brown underneath. Can you identify this for me? Also, what do I need to feed this tree to reach optimum health?
Stephanie, I am not a tree doctor and I live in Michigan. I recommend you have a tree doctor, a certified arborist, do an on site inspection of your tree. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
