Mexican Sycamore Leaves Are Sprouting Out Yellow

Question From: D. Ketchbaw - Fredericksburg, Texas, United States
Q: I have a nicely established Mexican Sycamore tree that is putting on nice green leaves; I was out of town for 8 days and upon returning I noticed the new, baby leaves that are now sprouting out are yellow. Do you think this is stress due to needing more water? I have watered it since returning home, but the little yellow leaves continue.

A: Donna, Your tree is in trouble and you can not afford to act on a guess. Contact a local certified arborist for an on-cite inspection and recommendation. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
