Question From: M. Alaszewski - MICHIGAN
Q: Hi, many, many years ago (according to my 88 year old mother) you wrote a column describing a weed/plant that your mother-in-law gave you to treat a bad leg or ankle. My mother thinks this weed could be used as a treatment for her great-grand son's red-wine skin issue. Do you recall the name of the plant/weed? Do you have a picture of this? Do you have any knowledge of possible other uses for this plant? Thanks in advance.
A: The weed was plantain. If you search google for plantain, you are sure to find photos. Best Nancy and Happy Gardening
