Snowy Mountain Ash Leaves Are Drying Up Even Though Watered Frequently
Question From: F. Cole - Warroad, Minnesota, United States
Q: My snowy mountain ash that I planted this spring the leaves are drying up. I put water on it every other day. This is the third tree I have tried to get to grow not having much luck.
Watering every other day is excessive, especially in the wet growing season this year. The rootball should be kept moist but not sodden. You may also have a drainage problem. You will probably save money by getting an onsite inspection from a certified arborist. To find a professional in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
