Summer Squash Leaves Turn Yellow

Question From: M. Ohearn - Bigfork, Montana, United States
Q: Why do summer squash leaves turn yellow and should I be concerned?

A: The oldest leaves will turn yellow after time, but this is pretty early in the game. Cold wet soil will do it. Not much you can do about that. It's early enough if it croaks you can replant. You may also try a fungicide. I use ACTINOVATE. You can buy it on-line and it is OMRI listed. Safe for kids and pets. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
