Sweet Peppers Are Wrinkled And Soft Whereas Hot Peppers In Same Area Are Fine

Question From: Liberty, Indiana, United States
Q: My sweet peppers are not getting very big before they appear to be wrinkled and soft. The leaves of the plant are not wrinkled. We had good rainfall in the spring although we are goind through a dry spell now. The jalapenos are planted in the same area and look fine.

A: Your pepper may have cross pollinated. Hot and sweet peppers should be separated. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
