Top Of Bell Pepper Plants Is Dry And Brown And Bottom Of Fruit Is Turning Brown

Question From: D. Ramsumair - Schenectady, New York, United States
Q: Hello Nancy, I have some DWC Bell Peppers and I have noticed that the top of the peppers are very different from the lower half of the pepper plant. The top seems to be very dry and brown and not green and leafy like the rest of the plant. Also, when the first fruit started forming, after about a week or two for the small pepper, the bottom half has turned brown. I have some photos that will elaborate much better than I can if you will allow me to send them to you. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dennis

A: Sorry Dennis, Jeff Ball wrote the article on growing peppers in hydroponics systems. I don't grow plants hydroponically so I cannot advise you. I suggest you take these photos to a hydroponic store along with a water sample. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
