Question From: K. Swanson - McPherson, Kansas, United States
Q: Received new quart pots of perinneal tall phlox at our nursery. Noticed in afternoon that upper leaves are rolling in and look like a green bean pod. There are no signs of spider mites or webs. What causes this??
Leaf rolling is said to be caused by spider mites. They can be very hard to see. Try using a magnifying glass. They may have been sprayed in advance, so the mite are dead. I'd confer with the nursery. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
