Weeping Pussy Willow Leaves Turned Brown After Being Moved
Question From: Covington, Georgia, United States
Q: I just moved my weeping pussy willow tree last week and the leaves all turned brown. The tree is in full sun until 2-3 pm and then partial sun. I have watered it every day and the branches are still pliable. Do you think it turned brown due to stress of being moved? Do I need to trim the branches or do anything else to keep from losing the tree?
Your timing was not the best. It should have been moved before bud break. Keep it watered so the soil stays moist not sodden, and hope it develops a new set of leaves. Do not fertilize it. Best Nancy
