What Ground Temperature Is Required For Planting Flowers

Q: In the Detroit Free Press a couple of weeks ago you advised what the ground temperature should be before planting flowers. I forgot what it was. Please advise.

A: If you are planting warm weather lovers the soil should be warmed to 60 degrees. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
