Would Succulents Thrive In A Cemetery Without Water

Question From: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, United States
Q: I was hoping to plant cemeteries with alll succulents this year. Full sun. Less watering. After reading your article, what do you think ? Cemetery has no water supply, is about an hour from home.

I have seen succulents used in Europe. Hens and chicks are very hardy and have lived for years in gardens with no watering. That said, if it does not rain for weeks, as happened in our garden in Rochester this year, watering may be necessary on occasions. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
