Q: I seem to be getting a lot of wild onions in my beds and lawn. I do have chives which produce lovely purple flower heads, are they part of my problem? Should I take out the chives? Thx so much, you are or a great help.
A: Chives do reseed, but you can keep them from doing so by cutting off the flowers after they are spent. They are usually not a problem in lawns. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
