Potted Norfolk Pine Branches Are Drooping

Question From: G. KING - Livonia, Michigan, United States
Q: I have a beattiful Norfolk Island Pine that I bought at Home Depot December 1st and the branches are drooping downward and getting worse every day. Am I watering to little or to much?

A: George, I can't answer that. Too many variables. Size of pot, kind of potting soil, sun exposure, temperature and humidity of the room. the soil should be kept damp, but in winter allow the surface of the soil should be allowed to dry. The bottom branches will droop if the plant dries out. Lack of sun could also be a problem.Google care of a Norfolk pine for more info. Best Nancy
