What makes the PX Pruner ergonomic?

Bahco ergonomic pruners

Bahco ergonomic pruner lateral inclination

Bahco Pruner ergonomic PX

Bahco ergonomic pruner PX

Vertical Inclination

Compared to a traditional pruner, the PX downward inclination compensates the wrist bending and allows the hand to remain n a neutral position, which reduces the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Lateral Inclination

Compared to traditional pruner, the PX inclination to the left (for right handed pruners) compensates the wrist bending and allows the hand to remain in a neutral position, which improves pressure capacity to be applied on handles and avoids M.S.D. (Musculo Skeletal Disorders).

Ergonomic Features

Vertical and lateral inclinations. Shape of the handles. Elastomer coating on upper handles. Choice of the cutting head. Choice of spring. Hand measuring system.

Ergonomic Benefits

Keeps your wrist in a neutral position. Provides comfort. Helps to spread pressure evenly. Provides the right cutting head for each job. Adapts the pruner to the power of your hand. Guides you to find the best pruner for you.

Dangerous
Like a Crossbill (bird w/overlapping bill tips) but dangerous, these pruners with razor sharp misaligned tips cut my husband simply opening the package. They’ve been boxed for return and replacement. A over-deep leather holster would have been essential. Pockets would have been shredded.Hopefully the replacement will have better quality control. My Sandvik pruners have been performing well for over 20 years. This new generation (from the same company) is not of the same caliber. But I’ll update when the new model arrives.
