Chipmunks

Do you find your newly planted plants are dug up and lying on the ground the day after you put them out? Do you find small tunnels in your ground that look like snake holes; especially a small hole without ground near it? The chipmunk burrows into the ground and places the dirt in it’s cheeks and disperses the dirt in areas away from their burrow. Is something eating your strawberries? You may find 10 or 15 sunflower seeds germinating from one spot where the little buggers stored seeds from the bird feeder droppings. All these clues lead to the good possibility that you have a chipmunk or three in your yard. The only serious damage these cute mammels can cause is disrupting your flower beds from time to time.
