Artemisia

Artemisia
Sometimes called Wormwood, Artemisias [ar-tem-EE-zhah] offer striking silver/gray foliage and drought resistance and are easy to care for. Perennials, they die back in the winter, returning each spring. They are tough plants. Many have aromatic foliage like the familiar herb, tarragon, also a member of this clan. `Silver King', a variety of western sage (Artemisia ludoviciana), is a native of the western United States that is a reliable plant for home landscapes in many regions.
