Dawn Redwood Problems

Dawn Redwood is quite free of disease and pest insect problems. If it is planted in dry soils, it is vulnerable to spider mites. Sometimes, Japanese beetles will take some chomps in years when those beetles are in large supply. If it is living in compacted soil it can sometimes produce surface roots; roots growing above the surface of the soil.
