Planting Honeysuckle

The Right Place
Hall's Honeysuckles can be grown as far north as Zone 5, where average annual minimum temperatures are -10 to -5°. F. They're semi-evergreen in the North.

Planting Nursery Stock
These plants aren't particular about sun or shade, or soil type. They do best in a loamy soil that is reasonably moist and slightly acidic (pH 6.5). They tolerate poor drainage and are fairly drought-resistant. When using them as ground covers, set plants 2 to 3 feet apart.
